Dr Cheah Si Oon

Dr. Cheah Si Oon graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2004. He attained accreditation as a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (Emergency Medicine) in Edinburgh in 2008, and became a registered specialist in Emergency Medicine with the Singapore Medical Council in 2011. Following extensive training at Singapore General Hospital, she joined Ng Teng Fong General Hospital in 2014 as a Consultant until transitioning to private practice in 2020. Dr. Cheah specializes in Pre-Hospital Emergency Care (EMS) and serves as a Consultant for the Unit for Pre-hospital Emergency Care (UPEC), focusing on paramedic training and development. She actively contributes to the Sports Safety Committee and the Pan Asian Resuscitation Outcomes Study (PAROS) committee, with a research emphasis on sports-related Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrests (OHCA). Dr. Cheah is known for her proficiency in Emergency Medicine across all age groups and disease spectra, her ability to handle pediatric cases with empathy, and her multilingual skills in English, Mandarin, Malay, Hokkien, and Cantonese.
