Dr. Gerald Tan is a urologist and an accredited robotic surgeon at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, specializing in minimally invasive urologic surgery and urologic cancer therapy. He earned his medical degree from the University of Edinburgh in 1996 and completed his urology specialized training at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) and Singapore General Hospital in 2007. Together with his colleagues, they conducted a two-year fellowship in prostate cancer research and robotic urologic oncology with Professor Ash Tewari at Cornell University's Weill Medical College in New York. Their research focused on innovative laser technologies to better see the tissues around the prostate, which contain the delicate microscopic nerves responsible for erection. Dr. Tan has received numerous international academic awards and honors, including the New York Academy of Medicine's Ferdinand C. Valentine Fellowship in Urologic Research, the American Association of Cancer Research's AACR-GlaxoSmithKline Outstanding Clinical Scholar Award, the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh's James Syme Medal for outstanding academic achievement, and the John Steyn Travelling Fellowship in Urology. He has also received the Outstanding Young Persons of Singapore Award (Medical Innovation) from Junior Chamber International in 2009 and the Yahya Cohen Memorial Lecture and Medal from the Singapore College of Surgeons in 2011. He has performed over 1,300 robotic radical prostatectomies, robotic kidney-sparing surgery for kidney cancer, and robotic radical cystectomy for muscle-invasive bladder cancer. He is skilled in robotic and advanced laparoscopic treatments earning Asia's Outstanding Young Urologist award by the Urological Association of Asia in 2012. He is a regular reviewer for the British Journal of Urology International and has served as Course Director for numerous symposia and masterclasses in robotic and minimally invasive urologic surgery.

Dr. Poh Beow Kiong is a board-certified consultant urologist on the Singapore Medical Council Registry of Specialists (Urology). Dr. Poh works at both Mt. Elizabeth Novena and Gleneagles Hospitals. He has admitting privileges at Mt. Elizabeth (Orchard), Mt. Alvernia, and Parkway East Hospitals. He specializes in sophisticated Minimally Invasive Surgery for Urological Cancers and Endourology methods. Dr. Poh earned his MBBS and Master's degree in Surgery in Singapore and received the Health Manpower Development Program (HMDP) Scholarship to complete his urology training in cancer and endourology at the University of Southern California and British Columbia, Canada. He is a pioneer in laparoscopic radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer and now specializes in da Vinci Robotic Radical Prostatectomy. He also uses the cutting-edge da Vinci Xi system to do kidney-sparing surgery on kidney tumors. This approach eliminates the need to sacrifice the entire kidney while still achieving a favorable oncologic outcome. He is one of the few urologists who performs ultrasonic kidney access during percutaneous nuclear therapy (PCNL) for kidney stone disorders, such as staghorn calculi. He is also one of the few fellowship-trained urologists who conducts the technically challenging Holmium Laser Enucleation of Prostate (HoLEP) surgery for BPH, enabling quick postoperative recovery and satisfactory functional outcomes.
